About Us Gedmin Parker Equipment, LLC

Company History

Gedmin Pump & Equipment was founded in 2007 by company owner Jonathan Kerbel. Jonathan began his HVAC career in 1997 as an applications engineer with PACO Pumps in Houston, Texas after receiving a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.  After two years with the company, he was promoted to Region Manager and managed a wide network of representatives in the Northeast and Canada.

Jonathan and his wife moved to Maine in 2002. He remained a Regional Manager for Paco/Grundfos until 2007 when several significant shifts in the representative arena opened up the opportunity to begin a rep business of his own.  With a comprehensive background in pumps and pumping systems, Patterson Pump Company was the first manufacturer on the Gedmin line card and the company began to grow from there.  Company focus had always been wet-side mechanical room equipment, but in 2011 and 2012 Gedmin Pump added Nexus Valves and Zehnder Rittling to the line card - branching out to flow control and terminal heating equipment to complete the HVAC loop.

In 2014 Gedmin Pump & Equipment became Gedmin Parker Equipment when Parker Company was purchased from David Griffin.  This acquisition brought Baltimore Aircoil Company's cooling towers to the flagship spot of Gedmin Parker's line card and it continues to drive many of our largest HVAC projects.
